New rough-top belt skiver is used to quickly and cleanly remove rough top from light and medium duty conveyor belting. The skiver is a durable, portable, and hand-operated tool. The skiver allows for a lower splice profile to minimize the effects of cleaners, idlers and other conveyor components on mechanical fasteners.
